Last Weekend...

I finished up my time in Southlake yesterday. I actually cried on the way home I was so sad. I've grown attached to the people in Southlake. I'll miss my girls, I'll miss my friends, I'll miss my job, I'll miss the whole area. I will miss Southlake. I'm very thankful that they are going to give me my job back when I return. I don't know where else I would even want to work besides Southlake. The past week has been good. I've spent time with people that I care about. I hung out at the Prigge house alot. I packed. I relaxed. It was just a good week, I'm sad it's over...

Today I'm hanging out with Coy and Lucy. They are like my grandparents. I haven't seen them since May so I'm glad I get to spend some time with them before I leave. Tomorrow I am going to head down to Arlington for the day. I have to see my family before I leave. I will miss them so much! Monday I have to go back to Southlake to give the garage door opener back.. oops.. I totally forgot to leave it. I wasn't thinking... Then I don't really have too much planned. Just a chill out day. The same goes for Tuesday, just chill out and make sure I'm packed and ready to go the next morning. I can't believe how little time I have left. I do realize I will be back in 3 1/2 months, I just really am going to miss all of the people I love and care about. I am going to miss getting hugs from the people I love. I have been making an effort to see the people I care about as much as I can before I leave. Maybe I'm just being a baby by wanting to see everyone. I mean, I am coming back. I just, I just love people and can't imagine leaving for a semester without getting to hug them and tell them that I love them. Eh... I'm weird.

Well, I've got to eat something. Coy and Lucy are running late. That's pretty usual of them, guess it comes with age. :)

8 More Days!

Today I packed... 2 super large suitcases, a duffel bag, and a carry on. Wow, it is SO much stuff. I just don't want to get there and not have everything I need. Thankfully the Navy pays for the bag fee! Heck yeah!!

For the past week I've been working in Southlake, it has been quite fun. This week I am still working in Southlake, I'll be staying overnight there pretty much the whole week. Fun with the Prigges'!

Yesterday my roommates had a surprise going away party for me. It was such a surprise! I had NO idea! It was fun. However, I admit, I had a little too much lemonade... :( The bathroom was my close friend that evening... Oops.. :)

Well, I've got dinner tonight with Kristin. Tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday I'll be in Southlake. Friday I've got dinner with Steph. Saturday is a chill day. Sunday is Arlington. Monday another chill day. Tuesday is going to be crazy trying to make sure I'm ready to go on Wednesday... I'm also going to be having a going away dinner Tuesday evening with my favorite peeps! I'm busy...

Shower time. I'm gross...

Back in Texas

I got back from Minnesota today, it was sad to leave. I had the best trip up there that I have ever had! It was fantastic! My brothers are so dang awesome! I will miss them so very very much while I am gone. Hopefully I will get to see them soon after I return from Hawaii...

I'm in Southlake most of the next two weeks. I had my first day with the girls today, it was a good time. They are really great kiddos! I'm glad I get to hang out with them so much before I leave. It's a very fun job! I was very tired today though, I was up at 4am to catch my flight. So I ran all day on 3 hours of sleep. It is good to be at home and about to go to bed.

Alright, I'm going to try and figure out how to put some pictures up from my trip to Minnesota... Don't know how well that is going to go.. :/

Minnesota!

Yay, I'm in Minnesota!!! My 3 yr old brother, Tyson, is the cutest thing in the entire world!! Tyler, 9, is also pretty dang cool! I'm glad I am here for the weekend.

Monday I get back and head off to Southlake to watch two kiddo's!

I'm unemployed...

Yep. It's over. No more Parks and Recreation for the City of Southlake. I don't know how I feel about it yet.

One cool thing that did occur over the past couple of days, I am going to babysit for an awesome family in Southlake for two weeks before I leave. The Prigges'!!! I'm totally stoked about it!

Well, I smell bad from cleaning Durham. I'm going to shower and take a nap or something...

It's over... :(

Camp Mania is over.... 9 weeks. It went by SO fast.. I am sad it's over. I became so attached to so many of those kids, it was hard to leave. Gosh, I will miss those kids so much. It was a great summer. It had it's down times, but overall it was great. The staff all signed this picture frame for me, it was awesome. The kids signed a poster for me, it was sweet. Aww, I'm sad. It's hard to answer the question, "Am I ever going to see you again?"... I don't know... I really don't. Who knows what's going to happen in Hawaii. I may never make it back to Texas. Or I might and I'll have a different job than what I have now. Or I might be back at Southlake seeing all of those fantastic kids at Southlake Saturday Night. It's all so unknown right now....

This morning I wanted to ride Dave's ripstick. I was outside going downhill on the sidewalk and I bit it really hard on a turn. Face first into the curb... My hands decided they didn't want to help so there was nothing to help with the impact, just my face to the curb. It really hurt really freaking bad!!! Now I have a bruise on my cheek and alot alot alot of pain going through my face and head... I hit so hard, I must have cracked or chipped something. Man it hurts... That's what I get for trying to be a kid again.. Lame!

Sunday is my last day at Southlake. We clean the school... Yuk.. That is going to suck! After that it's just hanging out and spending time with people before I peace out. I'm excited!

So many good things to look forward to. So many previous things I'm going to miss....

1 Month!!

Only 30 more days until I finally leave Texas. September 2nd I get on a plane and head to Jacksonville Florida for a couple days of orientation, then I will get on another plane and head to the great State of Hawaii!!

I'm really excited yet really scared... It will be such a great trip and experience, no doubt about that. However, I'll really miss my friends and family here in Texas, I'll miss my job in Southlake, I'll miss Mr. Chopsticks, Sonic, Art Six, Pei Wei, The Square, The Nelson Center, and so much more. Yes, I will miss alot, but I will gain alot too, I hope... I'm sure there will be fantastic places in Kauai that I will love, but nothing will replace the wonderful Denton Texas that I call home.

I packed all of my stuff already, it's all in the barn. All I have are my clothes and the few other things I plan to take with me. I'm crashing on the floor of Erica's room until I leave. I still feel like I have so much to do before I leave. I need to sit down and make a list, I would hate to leave something important behind, that would suck...

One more week of work at Southlake... :( Camp Mania has been interesting this summer, I love all of those kids and will miss them SO much. I will miss all of my favorite people in Southlake too.

I am in Minnesota August 13th-18th to spend some time with my Dad and little brothers before I take off. When I get back I will have 2 weeks to see all the people I love and care about and get everything I need to get done. Man, I feel overwhelmed...

Okay, I'm done with this post. I'm tired, It's bedtime. Camp Mania will exhaust you!
